EFT

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a research-based approach developed by Dr. Sue Johnson that is used in counseling couples (EFCT) and individuals (EFIT). “EFT successfully helped couples resolve attachment injuries and create forgiveness.” Learn more here: International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT)

Discernment Counseling

While some couples know, without a doubt, that they want to file for divorce, others contemplate restoration. Discernment Counseling is a short-term (1-5 sessions) program designed to help you as a couple become clear and confident about a decision to either separate/divorce or enter into couples therapy

Divorce Coaching

As a couples divorce coach, my commitment is to help couples navigate one of life’s most challenging transitions by guiding them through the emotional, logistical, and relational complexities of divorce. Together, we create a personalized roadmap for healing, improving communication, reducing conflict and tension, and reaching an agreement on the terms of your divorce settlement and co-parenting plan. My approach is rooted in respect and fairness, with the ultimate goal of creating a positive foundation for post-divorce family life.

Collaborative Divorce Mediation

The key difference between Collaborative Practice and conventional divorce is the pledge to reach an agreement before going to court. You and your spouse keep control of the decisions yourselves, rather than giving it up to a judge. In order to accomplish that, all of the parties consent in writing to be part of a respectful process that leads to an out-of-court resolution. With Collaborative Practice, the goal is to develop effective relationships, solve problems jointly, and prevent a court battle.
